Skin Cancer Profiles

The Skin Cancer Profiles are a set of indicators to help identify and understand the trends in skin cancer across England. They include incidence and mortality rates for malignant melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, and influencing factors, such as deprivation. Due to a lack of robustness in the data for non-melanoma skin cancer, there are currently no indicators for non-melanoma included in the profiles.

The Skin Cancer Profiles also enable you to compare indicators across local authority and clinical commisioning groups in England and against the England average. This help commissioners and others to identify areas and populations to target skin cancer prevention and early diagnosis support and services.
